DTF Gang Sheet Yield Calculator
Enter the gang-sheet and transfer dimensions. The planner tests normal and rotated grids, returns transfers per sheet, utilization and how many gang sheets are needed for the order.
Turn transfer size into film yield and required gang sheets
Use the actual printed transfer rectangle, edge loss and spacing. The planner tests rotation, then converts the best simple grid into order-level film requirements.
Waiting for real job values
Enter gang-sheet, transfer and order dimensions.
What the result is useful for
Use this before ordering or printing DTF film so artwork dimensions and spacing translate into a defensible material-yield and cost decision.
How the calculation works
The usable film rectangle subtracts the edge margins. Normal and 90°-rotated transfer grids are tested with the entered spacing; the better yield is used to calculate required gang sheets after spoilage.
What this calculator cannot know
A rectangular equal-size grid does not replace RIP nesting. Irregular artwork, cut contours, printer pinch areas, curing/powder equipment and vendor-specific film handling can reduce usable area.
