Changing provider specifications are reviewed separately from stable mathematics.
Stable formulas
Geometry and arithmetic do not need cosmetic date changes. They are reviewed when implementation or methodology changes.
Changing requirements
KDP, manufacturer, marketplace and other externally controlled specifications carry verification dates and should be reviewed when the provider changes its guidance or at a regular freshness interval.
