How the calculation works
The browser uses a deterministic rectangular shelf-packing pass with optional 90° rotation, then draws each uploaded image into the calculated physical placement on a local canvas.
What this calculator cannot know
A dedicated RIP/nesting engine can optimize irregular transparency contours, color management, white underbase, choke, marks and device-specific output better. Export size is memory-capped in the browser.
