What the result is useful for

Use this when specialty layers materially change UV job economics or when comparing versions that use different white/primer/gloss coverage.

How the calculation works

Each layer cost = printed area × quantity × coverage% × entered cost-per-full-area-layer. The model sums CMYK, white, primer and gloss separately.

What this calculator cannot know

Actual UV ink consumption depends on pass mode, drop size, profile, head configuration, substrate and machine settings. Enter your own measured rate; this calculator does not invent millilitres from image coverage.
