UV Print Layer Cost Planner
Enter area, quantity, percentage coverage and your own measured/quoted full-area cost rate for each layer. The result shows layer-by-layer and total consumable cost.
Work through the job in stages
Use the real values from your job. Optional fields can stay blank; zero should only be used when the value genuinely does not apply.
What the result is useful for
Use this when specialty layers materially change UV job economics or when comparing versions that use different white/primer/gloss coverage.
How the calculation works
Each layer cost = printed area × quantity × coverage% × entered cost-per-full-area-layer. The model sums CMYK, white, primer and gloss separately.
What this calculator cannot know
Actual UV ink consumption depends on pass mode, drop size, profile, head configuration, substrate and machine settings. Enter your own measured rate; this calculator does not invent millilitres from image coverage.
