How the calculation works
This is a decision rule, not a universal numeric standard: heavier deposits generally need a more open mesh; fine detail generally needs a higher mesh count and compatible ink/stencil system.

Mesh numbering systems and practical ranges vary by market, thread diameter, ink system and manufacturer. Always follow the ink/emulsion supplier and run a production test.
