A3 pixel dimensions at common resolutions

A3 has a fixed physical size of 297 × 420 mm (11.69 × 16.54 in). It does not have one universal pixel size: pixels change with the PPI used for the raster file.

What the result is useful for

Use the A3 table for an immediate common-PPI answer, then use the calculator for any custom raster resolution. This avoids treating one memorized pixel dimension as a property of the physical A3 sheet.

How the calculation works

Pixel width/height = the paper size in inches × selected PPI, rounded to whole pixels.

What this calculator cannot know

The result is deterministic from the values entered, but production constraints that are not represented by an input can change the practical decision.
