Label Count from Roll Diameter Calculator
Measure the roll and core, enter material caliper and pitch, and the calculator estimates remaining web length and whole label repeats.

Why roll diameter is an estimate
The geometry equates the cross-sectional area of wound material with web length × material thickness. It is useful for planning, but real label stock compresses and traps air differently depending on liner, adhesive, face stock and winding tension.
For equipment-critical limits: use the converter's specified roll OD/core limit and measured finished rolls rather than treating calculated OD as a guarantee.
What the result is useful for
Use this for rough stock-taking when a roll cannot conveniently be unwound and counted.
How the calculation works
Web length ≈ π × (roll diameter² − core diameter²) ÷ (4 × material thickness); label count = floor(web length ÷ pitch).
What this calculator cannot know
The estimate is sensitive to thickness and winding compression. It is not a certified inventory measurement and may be wrong when caliper/tension is unknown.
