How the calculation works
Pitch = label length + gap. Whole-label count = floor((roll length − leader/trailer allowance) ÷ pitch).
What this calculator cannot know
This is a linear single-lane estimate. Matrix, multiple lanes, splice waste, press setup, core/tension effects and converting waste require separate allowances.
