Geometry is only one part of a large-format job
These tools calculate flat size, paneling, roll usage, finishing geometry or cost. Wind loading, structural attachment, fire/building requirements, media suitability and installer safety are outside the calculator and should be verified for the actual installation.

Useful before artwork export when a single graphic exceeds media or installation width.
How the calculation works
Panels = ceil((finished width − overlap) / (max panel width − overlap)). Nominal panel width then distributes the finished span plus overlaps across the panel count.
What this calculator cannot know
Final panel breaks should consider visual content, seams, substrate stretch, printer/media limits and installer preferences.
