Window / Vehicle Panel Material Estimator
Enter the surface rectangle, usable media width, desired panel overlap and waste allowance to estimate panels and roll length.
Enter your job values
Use the real values from your job. Optional fields can stay blank; zero should only be used when the value genuinely does not apply.

Geometry is only one part of a large-format job
These tools calculate flat size, paneling, roll usage, finishing geometry or cost. Wind loading, structural attachment, fire/building requirements, media suitability and installer safety are outside the calculator and should be verified for the actual installation.
What the result is useful for
This is useful for early material and quote planning before the final contour/template is available.
How the calculation works
Effective panel coverage = usable roll width − overlap. Panel count = ceil((surface width − overlap) ÷ effective coverage). Printed roll length = surface height × panel count, then waste is added.
What this calculator cannot know
Real vehicles and architectural surfaces are not flat rectangles. Seams, compound curves, trimming, orientation, access and installer strategy can increase material substantially.
