Geometry is only one part of a large-format job
These tools calculate flat size, paneling, roll usage, finishing geometry or cost. Wind loading, structural attachment, fire/building requirements, media suitability and installer safety are outside the calculator and should be verified for the actual installation.
What the result is useful for
Useful for banners, posters, decals and other roll-fed rectangular work before RIP nesting.
How the calculation works
The tool tests simple normal/rotated across-roll fit, calculates repeats along the roll, then reports used length and area.
What this calculator cannot know
A production RIP can nest mixed sizes and irregular shapes more efficiently. Printer margins, take-up and media defects can reduce usable roll length.
