Rectangular-box surface area = 2 × (length × width + length × height + width × height). The allowance multiplies this area by 1 + waste%.
What this calculator cannot know
A real folding-carton or corrugated blank includes flaps, glue tabs, scores, overlaps and manufacturing allowances. Use the actual dieline for purchasing and print coverage.
