The template controls the actual offsets
Avery's guidance illustrates the three concepts clearly: the cut/trim line is the final label edge, full-bleed backgrounds extend beyond it, and important content belongs inside the safety area. The numerical offset varies by product/template, so this tool asks you to enter the supplied values instead of hard-coding a universal bleed.

How the calculation works
