Booklet Page Count Checker
Saddle-stitched booklets normally impose four pages per folded sheet. Enter the document page count to see whether it closes cleanly or needs blanks.
Enter your job values
Use the real values from your job. Optional fields can stay blank; zero should only be used when the value genuinely does not apply.

1 required value is still missing.
Paper bulk, grain and equipment can change the geometry
Booklet creep, fold compensation and spine thickness are physical-production estimates. Whenever a fold, bind, die or laminator controls the finished piece, record the actual stock caliper and the equipment/vendor specification rather than converting GSM to thickness by assumption.
What the result is useful for
Useful before imposition because page-count problems are easier to fix in the document than at the press or finisher.
How the calculation works
The checker rounds the entered page count up to the next multiple of four and divides by four to estimate folded sheets per booklet.
What this calculator cannot know
Special imposition systems can use signatures and binding schemes beyond one folded sheet = four pages. Confirm the actual imposition/bindery plan for complex work.
