Booklet Page Order Generator
Enter the document page count to see the outer-to-inner page pairs for a simple saddle-stitch imposition.
See which pages pair on each saddle-stitched sheet
This is a simple reader-spread planning view for one folded-and-nested signature. It pads the document to a multiple of four and shows outside-to-inside page pairs; a production RIP may reorder for work-and-turn, creep, signatures or finishing equipment.

Paper bulk, grain and equipment can change the geometry
Booklet creep, fold compensation and spine thickness are physical-production estimates. Whenever a fold, bind, die or laminator controls the finished piece, record the actual stock caliper and the equipment/vendor specification rather than converting GSM to thickness by assumption.
What the result is useful for
Useful as a learning/checking aid for small manual booklet jobs and for understanding why booklet pages do not print in reading order.
How the calculation works
The generator pads to a multiple of four, then pairs outside pages inward: outer front = last + page 1, outer back = page 2 + penultimate, continuing toward the center.
What this calculator cannot know
Professional imposition also accounts for press sheet, work-and-turn/tumble, creep, marks, gripper, folding and binding equipment. Do not use this page-order list as a substitute for a production imposition system.
