How the calculation works

Bar-pattern width = 95 × X. Total planned width = (95 + left quiet X + right quiet X) × X.

What this calculator cannot know

Height, human-readable text, magnification limits, quiet-zone indicators and application-specific GS1 rules still come from the controlling GS1 specification. This is not barcode verification.
